Nitin R. Patel, Ph.D. – Founder, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, Cytel Inc. Dr. Patel is a leading expert on the development of fast and accurate computer algorithms to implement computationally intensive statistical methods. He has published over sixty-five refereed papers in the areas of statistics, operations research and computing. He and his co-authors, Dr. Cyrus Mehta and Dr. Karim Hirji, received the 1987 George W. Snedecor Award from the American Statistical Association. Dr. Patel has been a member of the faculty at MIT’s Sloan School and the Operations Research Center since 1995. Previously, he was a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and held visiting positions at Harvard, the University of Michigan, the University of Montreal and the University of Pittsburgh.

Mayank Shah, Chartered Accountant Mayank has over 40 years experience as Consultant, Executive and Academician in the field of MIS and Business Analytics applications. Mayank designed and supervised building of MIS, Business Intelligence and Business Analytics solutions for a large number of organizations across several domains. He provided critical inputs in functional area for design and development of XLMiner a Data Mining tool on MS Excel platform. He is responsible for designing and building Business Analytics Platform at C-BIA which will enable Business Professionals to work with Analytics with great ease. Mayank was leading Information Technology discipline at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research for about 7 years before he founded C-BIA along with Nitin Patel in 2004. Currently, Mayank provides leadership to C-BIA and is primarily responsible for architectural inputs for design, development and delivery of Business Analytics solutions and services, including training. He focuses on design and development of BA Platforms while other Partners focus of client servicing. |
